These are some of the projects and sites I have worked on over my time as a developer. Below I gave some information on the site and what I had done.
Intro: Here are some companies and projects I have worked with over my 10+ year career as a full stack web developer. Some of these projects and companies I have worked with extensively and some have been quick projects. I'll do a quick outline of my involvement with each company.
These projects included tasks such as working with the client, creative designers, UX designers, other web developers, QA(Quality Assurance), managers, and other resources to achieve the desired outcome.
Intro: I was tasked with taking over the building of many major parts of the new Convoy website. The website uses the WordPress platform as the base for the website. Convoy is an American trucking software company that has a $2.75 billion valuation in 2019 and this website is designed to be the first step in exploring the company.
Intro: I was hired to develop a website promoting the DC area and the new Amazon HQ2 they built. These companies deal with commercial real estate, so the website is designed to inspire interest in the Washington, DC area. I did work with a designer but all other aspects and svg animations were built by me.
Intro: T-Mobile is one of the companies I have worked with the most. I worked with them over 4 years through the agency The Garrigan Lyman Group. I have worked on many of their sites and on many large launches. The largest ones typically being Apple products, Samsung products, and T-Mobile initiatives. I helped install the CMS Umbraco they use and have implemented site wide redesigns.
Some of these sites have been transfered over to the T-Mobile domain but the work is the same to what I did at GLG. Images and copy does changed frequently through the CMS.
Intro: Eddie Bauer is an American clothing store chain, headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. I worked on fixing aspects of the checkout process. There were some bugs and new features they wanted to add in the meantime before they did a complete overhaul of the checkout process.
Intro: Womens President Organization (WPO) is a site I recently worked on. The website needed to be General Data Protection Regulation (GDRP) compliant. I developed site wide JavaScript, and cookie controlled boxes and forms that displayed the General Data Protection Regulation form and gave the user the ability to opt out or accept.
Intro: Worship Together is a music website that we were tasked to do a complete overhaul. I worked with GLG on implementing their new website. I worked on the frontend and backend during this process.
Intro: I was tasked with taking over the build of many major parts of the new Cerence website. The website uses the WordPress plantform as the base for the website.
Intro: Evergreen Home Loans is another site I recently worked on. I was doing frontend/backend work on the site and my main object was to build a brand-new page for a loan officer and incorporating it with the Umbraco CMS.
Intro: The Garrigan Lyman Group is the company I have worked with for over the past 5 years in varying capacity. I was full-time with them for the majority of the time. I then moved to part-time so I could pursue some personal projects/start ups. Now I freelance/contract with them occasionally. I have worked on their website throughout my time from simple maintenance to helping with the redesign.
Intro: GoSmart Mobile is a cell phone service I did work on over the years. The work ranged from front-end to back-end work over the website with page redesigns and general maintenance.
Intro: I worked with Bodypoint several years ago. I designed and built many pages and helped migrate their site from Drupal to Znode eCommerce platform.
Intro: GearBasin is a start up I joined with some friends about 5 years ago. It is looking to be the cross roads of adventure by bringing the outdoor community together in one spot. You will be able to find gear, people, events, groups, and posts for all of your adventures. It is a massive site and is almost ready for a full public launch. It is built on Ruby on Rails and uses many large-scale technologies. I'm the sole developer on this project and have built all aspects of this site. From design, UX, to code.
Intro: Kaljaa was a start-up a couple of programmers and I started over 10 years ago. It was a social network for the brewery industry which supported c2c, b2c, and b2b interactions. This site was also built on the Ruby on Rails framework. We had a very successful and well received beta trial. During that trial, Kaljaa had 40-50 breweries, and a large number of users join that included people from all parts of the industry such as beer drinkers, breweries, beer distributors, restaurants, and critics. I started a rewrite of the entire site about 5 years ago. We had to place it on hold due to some outside factors.
